Website Functionality & Security Enhancements
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I need a skilled developer to address a list of issues impacting my website's performance and security.
Key Deliverables:
- **Bugs Fixing**: The website currently has a number of bugs that need to be identified and fixed. While I have a list, it's not detailed so it will require some exploration on your part.
- **Security Enhancements**: Beyond the bugs, I also need you to conduct a security audit to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement necessary fixes to ensure that user data is well protected.
Ideal Experience:
- Extensive experience in web development and bug fixing
- Proven track record of improving website security
- Familiarity with common security vulnerabilities and methods to mitigate them
- Strong communication skills to explain the issues and the solutions clearly

Items need fixing:
1) Clean malware from 2 websites that use wordpress
2) Improve the security on my two websites to stop malware and unauthorised access (could look to use Solid Security plugin); changing permissions via FTP for certain folders
3) Delete plugins not being used
4) Ensure WP Rocket working properly
5) Java script broken on one website which means some of the pages are not working properly
6) Update plugins including latest version of Wordpress and Elementor Pro
7) Clean backups saved
