Webpage otimization and News Page update

Project Title: Picture upload optimization and News page optimation with CRON job
Overview:
I am looking for a skilled web developer to optimize the subsequent picture upload on the listing page of Newlista.com and also optimize the news page for faster loading by reducing RSS feeds or other means as well as setting up a CRON job to remove old news automatically and fix the auto grabbing of new news. Also, we want to delete the footer and link that says Powered by Web Helios.
Specific Requirements:
Webpage picture Optimization:
- In the Dashboard of the user panel, The first picture upload is reduced in size, however, subsequent pictures are not. The reduction of picture size will allow the web page open faster. We need a method to reduce the picture file while being uploaded. Also, the freelancer will need to test picture upload and make sure that JPG, GIF, and PNG files can be uploaded with no issues.
News Page Update:
- Currently, the old news on the news page has to be deleted manually under the owner's dashboard. We need a CRON job to automatically delete old news.
- Grabbing new news is not working properly for some categories. We need to check and update the code.
- The news page takes approximately 6.2 seconds to open and can penalize us for SEO ranking. We were told to reduce the RSS feeds or perhaps implement another method to increase the speed.
We prefer someone with
- Strong knowledge and experience in webpage optimization techniques
- Proficient in optimizing loading speed and overall website performance
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and strategies
- Experience in updating and maintaining news pages created with PHP
- Understanding of mobile responsiveness and ability to implement it effectively
