Web developer needing to redesign a current wordpress designed website

My developer created a simple Wordpress website by using just a Wordpress Plugin, which is causing speed issues, css errors, url plugin Thumbnail errors for videos on website and other smaller errors making website not mobile friendly and hence not ranking on google.
