Web developer needed to build website with Google Places API search and display function for non-profit -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I run a Canadian non-profit which provides services to homeless members of the local community.
We'd like to create a webpage with a function which allows users to input their location, and the webpage would show a text list of nearby resources (like shelters, housing support, mental health counselling, food banks, etc). These resources would be pulled from Google Maps and displayed in a text list on our website. Only relevant locations would be listed, and others would be filtered out.
I understand this can be done with the Google Maps / Places API. Ideally the user would input their location (or the website would use location services) and a search radius, and the webpage would list relevant locations within the given radius. The results would ideally appear on the webpage and would not appear to use a google maps search bar or any google service.
I'm happy to provide the API key for our organization to a developer.
