Job Responsibilities:
As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for creating website layouts/user interfaces using standard HTML/CSS practices. You will develop responsive and cross-browser compatible websites, design and manage website back-end including database and server integration, and generate WordPress themes and plugins. Additionally, you will conduct website performance tests, troubleshoot content issues, and conduct WordPress training with clients. You will estimate development timings for individual tasks and new site builds, coordinate with web designers to match visual design intent, and possess knowledge of code versioning tools like GIT. You will also work with debugging tools and monitor, review, and revise the performance of live websites to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
Required Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should have 2-3 years of relevant work experience and the ability to build websites from scratch using WordPress. You should have proven experience in woo-commerce and supported plugins, as well as knowledge in creating website layout/user interface using HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of theme customization, be competent in creating and maintaining software documentation, and have a good understanding of SEO principles and content management systems. You must have knowledge of database management, hosting website, email server configuration on both shared and VPS servers.
