Web Backend Fixes & API Integration
Budget: $100 – $200 AUD
Project: Panic (Duress) Button APP.
My existing web backend requires urgent attention. There are several APIs that are either not linking correctly or missing altogether. The previous developer found the project too challenging, so I'm in need of a strong candidate who can either repair the current system or create a new backend from scratch.
Key Requirements:
- The backend is connected to an app where users sign up and store data on a shared web server.
- Familiarity with Firebase and Laravel is essential as the current codebase is built on these technologies.
- The candidate must be able to independently link all components without needing assistance from the previous developer.
Project Details:
The web backend consists of 3 main pages:
1. A Users page: This should display all user information pulled from their signup and profile data. It should specifically retrieve and show user preferences and settings. The user is able to add multiple email and mobile numbers in the app that should show in the web backend under the 'email addresses' and 'mobile numbers'. These 2 fields are different to the 'loginID' which is the signup email and the 'loginmobile' which is the signup users mobile. The user is adding 'emergency email/mobile numbers' inside the app. Web admin should be able to delete/add/edit these numbers incase a user requires a change.
I have attached a photo of what we need the backend fields for each user to look like.
2. A Tickets page: This is where tickets are processed. Tickets are emailed and SMS'ed to a client or admin, and should be organized in a READ/UNREAD format, similar to a Gmail inbox. Also rename 'Requests' to 'Tickets''
I have attached a photo of what we need the backend fields for each user to look like.
3. A page with just 2 fields required. EmergencyDefaultMobile and EmergencyDefaultEmail. These 2 fields are the to be set on ALL accounts created. By default, these are the emergency center contact numbers when the duress button is pressed. (the added user mobile/sms are secondary contact points). These 2 fields will be hidden inside the app so users cannot see them, but these 2 fields need to be modified at any time and updated and pushed out on the end users end asap upon change.
You may discuss whatever is required with the current APP Dev.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience in backend development and API integration
- Proven track record with Firebase and Laravel
- Capacity to independently troubleshoot and solve complex problems
Please note, I can only consider freelancers with over 200+ positive feedback. If you do not meet this criterion, please do not waste your time.
