WHMCS Monitoring Addon Module
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We have a whmcs addon that offers clients to add their sites/servers to be monitored in WHMCS. There is an admin backend from WHMCS admin area and clients can manage things from the client area. We are looking for someone familiar with WHMCS software who can help optimize this addon module. This addon was coded a while ago and we have been told it isn't coded well and has multiple database query fetches, or something like that, when it should only have one. The current issue we face is that monitoring latency with the script is long, as it needs to check each monitor on each cron execution.
We also need these things fixed or added:
1. No way to edit client name for service in backend so the service doesn't get listed with the clients
2. Improve the formatting here and add the custom label to be shown
3. Client name is either of a different client or not populated at all.
4. In the emails it should inform what port, label, error is the reason it got reported down.
5. Fix the monitoring API and logic so that it doesn't take 2 cron checks to determine if something is down. It takes 10-15 minutes for something to be reported down from the time its actually down. (main issue mentioned above)
6. Bug with editing monitoring alerts, the port always gets defaulted back to http - 80
7. Add better identification to IP blacklisting. If an IP is blacklisted, it doesn't tell you on which one(s). Also add to the Blacklist page in the admin area a way to manually check an IP. https://www.soladrive.com/support/sola88/addonmodules.php?module=uptimemonitor&action=manageBlacklists
8. Clients report that status header codes feature is not triggering monitoring alerts.
We hope the person we hire can also maintain and add new features to this script long term for us.
