Various tasks for improving category short code functionalities -- 4

Hi everyone,
I am looking for a freelancer that is able to help me with the following tasks. I have a short code, which allows all the categories to display on a page. It is also possible to sort category names. I want to improve the functionalities:
1. Widen the “Select Name” Field
Please increase the width of the "Select Name" field so that the full text is visible and easy to read within the field. Currently, it gets cut off, which affects usability.

2. Improve Selection History Behavior
Currently, the selection (e.g., filters, dropdown choices, etc.) is always remembered, even when the user navigates back to the page from a different route — which causes confusion.

3. Orange Highlight Bar Missing for Selected Letters
The orange bar that visually highlights the selected letter in the A–Z navigation is not consistently visible. For example, when selecting a letter such as C, the corresponding header or label does not display the orange styling as expected. This issue also occurs with other letters.
4. Prevent Page from Shifting on Load
When reloading certain pages, the content visibly shifts or "jumps" up and down during the loading process. This causes a flickering or dragging effect that disrupts the user experience.
The page should load smoothly and stay fixed, without any visible shifting or dragging motion.
Ensure that this issue is resolved across all devices and browsers.

5. Improve Page Load Time
When the page loads for the first time, it takes up to 12 seconds to fully render. While caching helps for a short period, the page becomes slow again after the cache expires or on first visits from new users.
The page should consistently load within a few seconds at most, regardless of whether it’s cached or not.
The current load time of 12 seconds is far too long and needs to be optimized.
My maximum budget for this task is €75.
