I'm looking for a skilled web developer to create a simple and user-friendly classified ad website focused on buying and selling goods.
Key Features:
- User Account Creation: Users should be able to create and manage their own accounts seamlessly.
- Search and Filter Options: An effective search and filter system to enable users to find listings easily.
- Direct Messaging System: A built-in messaging system for users to communicate with each other.
- DVLA API Integration: A system for uploading vehicles directly from the DVLA website.
- Google Maps API: Integration of Google Maps for location-based listings.
We need a website similar to Gumtree UK, CarGurus UK, Ebay.co.uk, and The AA used cars website. Most important is the facility to upload vehicles easily with DVLA API, so we need to add the vehicle's registration mark and the rest of the data is fetched from DVLA.
Please note, that the project will only be awarded to companies who can demonstrate that they already have built similar websites and they are up and running. We will need to see the websites.
The ideal candidate for this project should have significant experience in web development, specifically in creating e-commerce and classified ad websites. Familiarity with the DVLA and Google Maps APIs will be a major advantage. A modern and sleek design is not the aim here; we need a straightforward, simple and user-friendly interface.
