Urgent snipet fix

I have a form made with GF I have a JS script that when clic on a link it changes a dropdown values, so far so good... but I need the value to be saved so it can be displayed on the last screen or get it when recieve the email... now it is not happening.. this can be solved in same script, new script or in php or anything just need it working...
