Upgrade Custom WooCommerce Product Sync Plugin

Project Description:
We have a custom WooCommerce plugin, Product Sync, designed to import product data from an external API into our WooCommerce store. The plugin is visible in the WooCommerce admin panel with an "Import Products" button to fetch data and synchronize products.
Current Issue:
The plugin needs enhancements to handle metadata for product variations accurately. Currently, the variations display incorrectly on the product page, preventing users from selecting specific options before purchasing.
Key Technical Details:
API Endpoint: To be provided upon project start.
Example Product Page: Available on a staging site for testing.
Codefile: Existing code will be shared upon project acceptance.
Project Requirements:
Variation Metadata Handling: Ensure the plugin imports and correctly maps metadata for each variation, including pricing and weight.
Variation Selection: Update the product page to enable users to select variations with all relevant information displayed correctly, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Attribute and Taxonomy Setup: Verify and, if necessary, create global attributes (e.g., weight and type) to support imported variations and ensure they display consistently.

API documentation and example responses.
Existing plugin code for reference and enhancement.
Deliverables:
Updated WooCommerce plugin with fully functional variation metadata import.
