Update new YouTube videos in WordPress site automatically
Budget: $40 – $60 USD
I have a WordPress site and a YouTube channel and I need you to develop a php script (aka plugin) that does these:
1). Update the homepage so that it shows the latest 5 YouTube videos automatically, using the YouTube API.
As soon as a video is created, it should come on top and the one that is currently the last of the five should be deleted.
And in the 'Latest News' section, show the videos too (mixed with user-made articles).
In each entry, show: video title, thumbnail and of course link to the video.
2). For every new video, create a new page in blog section of the site
This is not necessary to be done as soon as a new video is posted on YouTube (although that is fine too),
but I don't mind if this is done just once a day.
All article pages are stored in the Archive section and now on homepage it shows the number of articles in each month, like this:
January (3) , February (5), March (4). The point is that the automatically created article pages should be counted too.
I will create an API Key in Google account, for YouTube.
It is not such a difficult task for somebody who knows how to do it AND has previous experience.
But for someone who hasn't done similar code, it could take too much time and therefore it may not be a good job opportunity.
You can ask if anything is not clear.
