Update / Modify SQL queries for performance. MYSQL EXPERT NEEDED!

I have a large sql database that was fast at one time but now with large amounts of data it struggles to keep up.
I have pretty basic inventory system written in PHP that calculates inbound products and outbound products and sums them together. The more data I input the slower it becomes.
Looking for a MYSQL EXPERT! This will turn into decent running project for the right person.
Again need someone to increase / update / change my sql statements and database configuration for speed.
