Update Chartjs plugin
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
We are currently using a custom WordPress plugin that integrates Chart.js (version 2.9.4) with TablePress. The plugin allows us to generate dynamic charts from the data in our TablePress tables. We want to take advantage of the new features and improvements in the latest version of Chart.js (4.3.0) and add some additional features to our plugin. Therefore, we are looking for a skilled WordPress developer to update and enhance our plugin.
Project Scope:
Update the Chart.js library within our plugin from version 2.9.4 to 4.3.0.
Add support for combo charts, such as defining one chart as a bar chart and another as a column chart.
Incorporate animation features from Chart.js into our plugin to make the charts more visually appealing.
Add support for multi-axis charts.
Ensure that all existing functionality of the plugin continues to work with the updated Chart.js version.
Test the plugin thoroughly to ensure compatibility with the latest versions of WordPress and TablePress.
Fix any bugs or issues that arise during the update process.
Provide a brief report outlining the work done, any issues encountered, and how they were resolved.
Skills Required:
Strong experience with WordPress plugin development.
Familiarity with the Chart.js library.
Good understanding of PHP, JavaScript, and CSS.
Experience with testing and debugging in WordPress.
Please note that we will provide the existing plugin code to the selected freelancer. We expect the updated plugin to be delivered as a ready-to-install WordPress plugin package.
If you have the necessary skills and experience, we would love to hear from you. Please include examples of similar projects you have completed in your proposal.
