Umbraco CMS .NET Developer for Website Migration
Budget: £1,500 – £3,000 GBP
Job Title:
.NET Developer with Umbraco Experience – Website Extraction & Migration
Description:
We’re looking for an experienced .NET developer with strong knowledge of the Umbraco CMS to assist in duplicating a section of an existing Umbraco website and preparing it as a standalone site.
The current site contains a location-specific section (e.g. example.com/location) that needs to be separated and deployed under a new domain (e.g. location-example.com).
This will potentially need to be done for up to four different locations, each requiring their own standalone version of the site. The job includes cloning the full site setup (files + database), removing unrelated content, adjusting the root node to serve the location content as the homepage, and configuring appropriate hostnames and settings in Umbraco.
You’ll be working alongside a team familiar with WordPress, so clear communication and guidance through key Umbraco-specific steps will be appreciated. We may also require assistance in setting up each standalone site on our own hosting/server environment, so experience with IIS and deployment processes is essential.
This is a short-term but important task that could lead to further collaboration.
