Ultimate POS 4.7.7 checkout funcion edit

I have Ultimate POS 4.7.7. In checkout process, there is a "Finalize payment" button on "Payment" screen. After clic on this button, calls a function in jquery called "pos_form_validator" wich has an ajax function inside.
I need to create a previous ajax function wich will return a result success=1 or success=0. This ajax has to have as parameter the id of the sale.
