Twilio Integration - Phase 1
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
We are in the process of developing a Construction ERP solution. We are currently working on our Scheduling module and have reached a point where we need to connect to the Twilio API for text messaging and potentially What's App embedded chat. The initial phase is simply to establish the connection to the Twilio API for outgoing Text messages and incoming response. Prior experience with Twilio API and the Twilio Platform is required.
Our application will submit notification requests for various types of notifications to a dedicated table for queued up messages to be passed on to Twilio. This table will track various information about the specific notification including the type (instant, delayed). It will also track any necessary Twilio response codes and/or messages, including the status of the notification (pending, sent).
A server-side PHP script will need to be written that iterates through this "Notifications" table and sends out any notifications that have not been sent yet, interfacing via Twilio's API.
We will also be able to receive responses from Twilio and insert them into the Notifications table.
A server-side CRON job (or similar Azure-based event scheduler) will need to be set up to run every 5min and execute php the script. On success, each corresponding notification needs to have its Status updated accordingly.
We are always looking for talented resources to work with so a successful completion and a good relationship could lead to large volumes of additional work.
