Troubleshoot Web Server Post-Migration

Job ID: 38884029

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

Web server migration.
Our company operates a Windows server running IIS, PHP, and hosts Crystal Reports that query a Microsoft SQL database. A new web server has been built by our server admin and the contents of the previous web server were copied over. Several of the prerequisite runtimes were also installed. We need a web developer with experience in these technologies to troubleshoot and resolve the following issues after the migration:
- The authentication system loads but does not work. We assume this is a DB connection issue
- Crystal reports are not loading. Aspx errors indicate ‘could not load file or assembly’
- Crystal reports components need to be updated
In summary this migration was done by a server admin, and we need a developer to troubleshoot and correct the above issues. Once in a working state a user should be able to log into the website, navigate pages, and load Crystal Reports using updated versions. A working example of this configuration prior to the server migration is available to reference if needed.
We use strong security systems that tend to filter users on a VPN or cloud based jump box VMs so be truthful about your actual country of origin and provide your true external IP when asked. The freelancer will be expected to establish a connection over RDP or FTP and work unattended after the initial connection is established.
