Project Title: Troubleshoot a Rogue MySQL Query

I am experiencing slow performance with a MySQL query and I am looking for a freelancer to help me troubleshoot and optimize it.

I have been relying on the Plugin Developer to resolve the issue and they are not. This has been ongoing for 2 months. The plugin is The Events Calendar. The code starts:
SELECT (wp_tec_occurrences.occurrence_id + 10000000) as occurrence_id FROM wp_posts

I would like to find a way to minimize the damage this causes until the developers can resolve the issue for me.

I have included some code that was provided by server support at Cloudways.

Specifics:
- The size of my database is medium, ranging from 1GB to 5GB.
- I have not specified any preferred optimization methods, so I am open to suggestions from the freelancer.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong expertise in MySQL optimization and troubleshooting.
- Proven track record in improving query performance.
- Familiarity with databases of medium size (1GB - 5GB) and the associated challenges.
- Ability to analyze and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Knowledge of various optimization techniques, such as indexing and query rewriting.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

If you have the required skills and experience, and are confident in your ability to troubleshoot and optimize MySQL queries for performance, please bid on this project.
