Tokbox (Vonage) video chat integration to an existing website (PHP/JQuery)
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I am looking for a web developer experienced in Tokbox/Vonage video chat integration. The site had a Tokbox integration but it was not reliable and it recently stopped working for some reason. I need a solid, reliable solution.
The video is for online job interviews. I will need the following from you:
1. SESSION START:
The recruiter calls a candidate. The candidate answers and the video session starts.
2. VIDEO CALL FUNCTIONALITY:
(a) Option to switch on/off the microphone for the recruiter only;
(b) Option to make the video full screen and back to default size;
(c) Limit the session to only one recruiter and only one candidate. More users may not enter the session.
3. SESSION END:
I will need you to create a JS function to end the session which will be called when:
(a) The recruiter decides to hang up and end the call by clicking on the "hang up" link - no styling is required, that's all done already;
(b) The time runs out - we have the JQuery countdown developed already, just the JS function that you will write should be called to end the call when the countdown reaches zero;
(c) The session ends for other reasons such as a very poor connection.
We may add extra functions/calls to the function that ends the session (such as opening the notes, redirecting to a new URL, etc.) - you don't have to worry about it, this will be done by us.
It is important, if possible, to make sure the video stays connected even when the connection of one of the users is a little slow or unstable. Similarly as when you make a Whatsapp or Skype call and the connection is not ideal - perhaps you get a frozen screen or lower-quality video for a while but you do not necessarily get disconnected.
No styling is required from you. That's all done already. We will try to implement your solution on our website but we may need your help with that as well - depending on how it goes.
I'd like to have the solution developed within a week, if possible. Please do not bid if you are unable to meet the deadline.
