Technical SEO Expert for Custom Laravel + React Site Migration

We’re looking for an experienced Technical SEO professional to guide and execute the SEO migration of our website from WordPress to a custom-built platform developed on Laravel, React, and MySQL.
Our new backend supports editable meta titles, descriptions, alt tags, dynamic slugs, and canonical tag controls. We need someone who can ensure a clean migration without losing organic visibility or backlink value.
Scope of Work
• Conduct a technical and on-page SEO audit specific to Laravel + React architecture
• Map and implement 301 redirects for all legacy WordPress URLs
• Ensure redirects are SEO-compliant and preserve ranking and link equity
• Fix crawl issues, update and validate robots.txt and XML sitemap, and resubmit to Google Search Console
• Monitor post-migration impact and adjust based on SEO performance
• Advise on improvements related to site speed, Core Web Vitals, and page experience
Must-Have Skills
• Strong understanding of technical SEO for Laravel and React environments
• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.
• Expertise in setting up and troubleshooting redirects via .htaccess, NGINX, or at code level
• Proven success in migrating websites from WordPress to custom platforms
• Ability to communicate with developers and make direct code-level changes when necessary
