Job Description:
I’m looking for an experienced software developer (or team) to build a Windows-based team roping event management system with offline functionality, live leaderboards, payment integration, and financial tracking.
This software will help team roping producers manage events efficiently while allowing ropers to check standings, entry details, and payouts in real time.
I am open to building from scratch or customizing an existing system.
Key Features Needed:
Event Management: Create and manage team roping jackpots with entry tracking.
Live Leaderboards: Display roping progress in real time so competitors can check their turn.
Offline Functionality: The system should work without an internet connection and sync data when online.
Automated Notifications: Send alerts for approaching runs, standing changes, and payouts.
Financial Tracking & Reports: Handle payouts, refunds, and 1099 reporting with audit logs.
Role-Based Access: Producers have full access, while staff permissions can be limited.
Mobile Entry & Payments: Allow ropers to enter events and pay entry fees through an app.
Payment Integrations: Include Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, and credit card processing.
Budget:
I am looking to start with an MVP (Minimal Viable Product) with a budget of $15,000 - $25,000. Once the core system is working, I’d like to add more features, so this could be a long-term project.
Timeline:
The first version should be completed in 4-6 months. If all goes well, I would like to continue working with the developer/team for future updates and additional features.
Ideal Developer/Team:
