Symfony PHP expert needed to set up new DDD hexagonal architecture for large legacy system

We have a large, stable and complex PHP application written in CakePHP 2.0 that has come to the end of its life. Well supported by our devops, regression testing and a large mysql database, we will be migrating progressively to a Symfony 5 DDD hexagonal architecture. We require a Symfony expert, with a solid understanding (if not expertise) in CakePHP to help us establish our infrastructure bridge and any communications between systems, so our development team can continue to develop new functionality on the new framework and establish our development processes around the new system. This is a greenfields upgrade process, mainly focussed on architecture and best practices implementation. Work on the legacy code base will be strictly limited to components and interfaces needed to interact between the two systems to facilitate the migration. We are initially proposing a three month highly focussed contract starting in August, but are open to extending this based on results.
