Symfony Microservice Upgrade v6 to v7, serverless & bref

Job ID: 37818621

Budget: $15 – $25 AUD

I am seeking a skilled Symfony developer to upgrade a microservice/very small app from Symfony 6.4 to 7.

Your Responsibilities:
1. Install rectorphp/rector package & process (with config attached) to convert routes, annotations to attributes, etc to Symfony 7 format.
2. Update composer with v7 symfony packages, & resolve any other dependencies
3. Basic testing to ensure console works, and nothing stands out as being broken
4. Update composer, serverless.yml config & bitbucket pipelines to use PHP 8.3
5. Update Bref to v2 & serverless if not already done
6. Install roave/security-advisories package if it's not already installed

Do not do any major code-quality / refactoring without first discussing - this project is just to get the microservice/small app upgraded to Symfony 7 with associated packages updated, as well as serverless & bref updated.

It's basically bringing as much as possible up-to-date, with minimal other code refactoring.

Ideal Skills:
* Mid-level Symfony & Serverless knowledge
* Solid background in PHP and other compatible web technologies
* Basic understanding of microservices architecture and design
* Demonstrated expertise in software testing and debugging
* Ability to meet deadlines and handle potentially complex technical issues

Please include in your application your level of expertise, past work that showcases your capabilities in Symfony, and your current availability.
Your estimated # of hours is also required (think of something the size of the demo symfony app - with a few commands and/or routes, in terms of the size of the project).

I'm looking for someone with the expertise to handle the job without too much fuss, and within a reasonable timeframe & budget. I've got a very technical background, and am more than capable of doing the work myself, but just don't have the time at the moment to do it.
