Stripe payment gateway integration (Stripe connect)

Our lead developer has already created a basic stripe integration. However, we are looking to quickly update this integration with Stripe Connect for a better user experience. https://stripe.com/payments/checkout
Stripe Connect offers a handful of features including chargeback protections, Accepting Apple and Google Pay, and other excellent security features.
The billing process between the freelancer and the client is as follows.
1. The client posts a job on our website providing necessary details such as job description, budget, and other preferences.
2. The freelancers then can send their proposals which service type is based on the client’s preferred type. This still can be changed by the client himself depending on the agreement between the client and freelancer.
A. Fixed Price - For fixed-price contracts, after the Client accepts the fixed-price proposal, they are prompted to a checkout form or payment form where their primary payment method is charged. This charged amount is held until the client approves the freelancer's finished work. Upon client approval, the payment is processed to be transferred to the freelancer account. This should take a few days for clearing. Once the funds are available and are clear, at that point, the money is ready for withdrawal through Payoneer or Paypal. Please note that as a backup, we require the client to add a credit card on file before allowing any ACH accounts to be attached to their account.
B. Hourly Billing - For hourly contracts, after the client accepts the hourly billing proposal, the client's credit card is preauthorized for a week's worth of hours with the formula of hourly rate x weekly limit. This is to hold and make sure the client has the capacity to pay the merchant’s service. The billing period starts from Mondays at 12AM UTC and ends on Sundays at 11:59PM UTC. Payments are available for withdrawal from Wednesday 12AM UTC. .
The end goal is to make the web apps billing, payments, and withdrawals process as secure and convenient as possible.
