Hello I’m starting an event ticketing site ViralTixs.com. (SEE PDF For Site Photos)
As the site administrator I have a section to enter my Stripe API Keys to receive all of payments from tickets sales on the site. But I want to split the tickets sales commissions with me (site admin) and each event organizer via Strip API into their Stripe account.
The site currently allows only the site admin (Me) to receive 100% payment from all sales generated on the site.
The site also has a section for registered Event Organizers to enter their Stripe API Keys to receive payments from me.
When the Event Organizer’s Stripe API Keys are entered and they request tickets sale payouts after their event has ended, I’m able to pay them via a credit card right from the admin dashboard.
This function is fine to keep, but I have no use for it.
How I would like is for my site’s payment flow to go:
When any amount of tickets are purchased on ViralTixs.com I would like 80% of the ticket_total_sum_value to go directly to the Event Organizers Stripe account via their event_organizer_stripe_api_keys that they’ve input for payment via their Organizer Account payment section.
So if an event organizer has $100 General Admissions Tickets and $500 VIP Tickets and someone buys 5 General Admission Tickets and 1 VIP Ticket, at checkout they will pay $1,000 for the tickets + 10% site service fee, for a total of $1,100. From that $1,100 total, 80% for the tickets value ($1,000) $800 goes to the event organizer Stripe account, and the remaining always goes the Site Administrator’s Stripe Account.
