Stripe SCA update and problem with 3D security

Hello, Our website supports payments with Stripe and the current developers made some changes to the SCA in June 2021. Since then I have had few users every week that cannot complete the payments when a 3D security pop up shows up.
Once customers enter their security password on the Authentication page and click pay they either get a 404 Error page or Wrong code entered but the code is correct or they are sent to their profile page but no subscription has been created.
The current developers have not been able to solve/locate the problem so far despite a lot of testing.
I will need a full check of the SCA and everything needs to be working properly, also I need the Stripe settings/SCA, 3D secure to be set the proper way.
I will also need a report of where the problem was. The current developers will be happy to assist and work with you on this but I need the truth as to where the problem originated as they think that it is not them.
