Square Merchant API and Paypal Merchant Website

Have a primary website developed in symfony with a cart that already has paypal but needs square api working. Subdomain is a seperate wordpress install with paypal and a free square merchant plugin installed.
Your job will be to make sure square merchant api and paypal work on both installs.
