-Section 0
It involves rebuilding the platform on Laravel version 10, implementing Laravel Jetstream as an authentication and registration method + SSO (Facebook, Google, App Store Login).
It involves defining the software architecture + configuring the entire system on the Beneficiary's server.
It involves integrating a new template and customizing it according to the requirements specified by the Beneficiary.
It includes all the functionalities of the current site, and in case some flows can be improved, simplifying both the implementation process and the use can be implemented with the Beneficiary's agreement.
Registration process with multiple roles: Student / Teacher / School (group/entity that has several teachers under its authority)
Student -> does not pay anything
School -> pays according to the number of teachers
Teacher -> if independent, pays a monthly subscription fee.
The subscriptions are based on the number of exams a teacher can take each month.
The questions will be displayed suggestively and aesthetically for each exam separately, not by subject as before.
SECTION I
Possibility on the website to support online multiple-choice/synthesis exams. This would involve:
• The teacher creates the exam by adding questions and answers.
• The exam will have a set start time and a limited duration.
• Participating students are added by the teacher and notified by email about the date, time, exam link, and everything they need.
• During the chosen time frame, the exam is active. Students can enter and take the exam. If a student enters before the start of the exam, they are placed on a waiting page and the exam page will be automatically loaded at the start.
• During the exam, the teacher sees in real-time the participants and their activity (questions answered and given answers, number of correct/incorrect answers, percentage, etc.).
• Here the teacher can also see how long the student is off the exam page (e.g., minimizing the page to search for the answer elsewhere) - with a margin of error, depending on the device.
• At the end of the exam, the session for students is closed.
• During the exam, students are displayed the remaining time and the number of questions left to answer. They can move on if they do not know how to answer a question and can return to it later.
• After the exam session is over, depending on the type of exam (only multiple-choice answers, essay-type answers, or mixed), the student either sees their grade directly (for exams with only multiple-choice answers) or waits for the teacher's grading.
• When the teacher has assigned a grade, the student receives a notification by email.
• The grades and passing threshold can be of several types. For example, in a test with only multiple-choice questions, the student can be considered passed if they answered a certain number of questions correctly, or each question can have a certain score, and the student must add up a certain number of points. The same goes for the essay-type answers. When I say essay-type answers, I mean any question that requires the student to write the answer, whether it is a word or a thousand words.
• The grades obtained by the student remain in a "catalog" to which the student has access. The teacher can see the grades of all students who have taken the exam with them.
• The exam can be taken for free or for a fee to be paid by students/teachers/schools.
