Sophisticated Trading Platform in Laravel PHP
Budget: £1,500 – £3,000 GBP
I am on the lookout for an experienced Laravel PHP developer to develop a sophisticated trading website. The proposed site needs to have three user roles:
- Customer
- Seller
- Administrator
Each of these roles will have their specific set of functionalities to streamline processes on the platform.
The site should boast some key features, including:
- Product Listings: An easy-to-use system for listing and categorizing products.
- Messaging System: A robust and secure communication channel between the buyer and the seller.
- CSV Stock Import: The ability to import stock details via CSV files.
- HPI VRM Lookup: A system for vehicle checks via VRM lookups.
- API Data Feed Out: Compatibility with external systems through API data feed outputs.
It's crucial for the platform to incorporate a secure payment method, with a preference for bank transfers. The perfect candidate for this project will possess an advanced knowledge of Laravel PHP, understand the mechanisms of a trading website, be familiar with creating different user roles and have experience in implementing comprehensive features including the ones mentioned above. A background in eCommerce platforms, payment gateway integration, especially bank transfers, would be highly beneficial. Looking forward to hearing from you.

The website is designed to provide a stock feed or new vehicles associated with CAP ID
Stock is uploaded by a Seller in several ways
Admin adds a percentage or a fixed amount
The vehicle site there waiting to be removed by seller or be sold.
Stock is added
- Manually so it needs a DMS
- Via Reg number for pre reg. vehicles - HPI Lookup
- CSV Upload
- API Key (eventually)
Pretty straightforward
The intention is to push people to feed their stock from their DMS
Website Sale
This stock is displayed by the seller and purchased by the buyer with as much info as possible. Make Model Colour Extras and of course a Sale price
A small hyperlink of vehicle that goes to a product page. We are going to need the CAP Date equivalent of “ Breadcrumbs”
So you can see this individual vehicle or all similar vehicles.
The buyer orders goes across to admin (me)
First the buyer seller and admin will need a messaging system so availability can be confirmed
And will need a “orders” section”
We need to be able to receive invoices from the seller
And we need to be able to attach invoices we have made to the buyer
Stock Feed Sale
The Buyer displays our feed on his website
e.g
A product page for VW Transporter T32 Kombi 150 DSG
He needs to select (needs to be bigger than dropdown for ease)

Transporter
He needs to make a decision
Keep “ Chunking Down” all the way to that specific model
or to display all the VW Transporter Kombi.
Website Visitor
Sees Tab
“ Live Stocklist”
It is populated via the product page selection
And they can work through chunking up or down
Its intended that the website owner (buyer) actually defaults the page to
as close a match to what the product page is about
Assumptions
When the seller receives an order they take it off system themselves
Seller needs to be able to duplicate stock
Seller needs to add accessories
Both buyer and seller require an account page
