Small Web Project: Develop a simple custom website with PHP and Laravel as backend
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
We're looking for an experienced PHP developer (NOT a WordPress developer) with a good experience in Laravel Framework, and Laravel Admin Panel Creation to build a website exactly like the site in the attached file except for the background color. The URL of the site can be found in the attached. We will discuss the background color with the winner of the project. We expect the site to have between 6-8 dynamic web pages plus a few static pages for About Us, Privacy, Contact Us, etc.
Here are the requirements:
Front-End Functions:
#1 - Build a Search Page (homepage) to be exactly the same as the site in the attached file but with a different background color (to be provided later)
#2 - Create a user sign-up (Login) page. (Use the underlying SQL table of JobBoard Script below):

Admin account: admin – 12345678 (username & password are auto-filled)
#3 - Create a Page for a registered user to add startup data ( Use JobBox Script underlying Company SQL table for startup table)
#4 - Create a front-end page to display startup information
#5 - Startup Landing Page similar to this:
#6 - Create another startup search/filter page (to be provided)
#7 - Create all pages from the footer on TopStartups.io (except Salary & Equity and
Negotiation Coaching)
Backend Functions for Admin:
#1: Create Admin Panel in Laravel Easily using Open Admin (Just in case, you may check this video about how to set Laravel Admin Panel:https://youtu.be/dlkqmSl0Bys )
#2: Create a backend function for Admin to CRUD (Create, READ, Update, and Delete) all project data (startups, founders, etc.) including Dropdown tables
Backend Functions for Users
#1: Create a backend function for users to CRUD (Create, READ, Update, and Delete) to collect all the data displayed on the front end.
Testing
- Perform testing and QA before delivering the final product.
Note:
The job posting function is out of scope and NOT part of this project
- NO integration is required with the JobBoard script.
- We're only reusing existing "user" and "companies" tables from JobBox Script (https://codecanyon.net/item/jobbox-laravel-job-portal-multilingual-system/42582644) to store the data for users and startups respectively. Please see the attached data model. You may extend these tables as necessary via PHP Admin
- We will give cPanel access to the developer
Skills:
Ideal skills and experience for the job:
- Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, Bootstrap, Javascript, JQuery, etc.
- Experience in developing user login and data management systems.
- Knowledge of frontend and backend development.
- Experience with graphics and web design
