We are looking to update our site from using the Modern Events Calendar (MEC) plugin and a Ticketbox child theme to using the Eventin plugin and Elementor Hello theme.

LIVE SITE

The Modern Events Calendar (MEC) is active on our live website, and uses the Ticketbox child theme, Woocommerce and Dokan. IMPORTANT: It also uses custom code that adds our platform fees and Stripe processing fees to the checkout total (paid by customer) and distributes payouts to Stripe Connect the way we need them distributed because the Dokan plugin does not provide the commission configuration we need.

The child theme on the live site was updated based on the MEC plugin, so it contains code specific to MEC. The main issue here is that the code written in the child theme of the live website was used to modify the MEC plugin's code. However, the action hooks in the Eventin plugin are entirely different, meaning that this code will not work with the Eventin plugin.

STAGING SITE

The staging site should use the Elementor Hello child theme. I think it’s currently using the parent theme. The Hello child theme is currently deactivated because the custom code doesn’t work. Note: The files for the custom code used on the live site have been saved in the Hello child theme directory for easy access and reference.

Eventin is already installed and working. We can successfully post events, but events cannot be purchased (see known error below).

Known Error (without using the custom code):

Checkout - Error: Invalid Payment Source: Payment processing failed. Please retry.

I assume a payment function needs to be activated somewhere (Woocommerce or Dokan) and I assume this issue needs to be addressed first before the custom code can be implemented & tested.

PROJECT DELIVERABLES

Work on staging site to:

- Adjust/Fix existing custom code (action hooks, etc.) to work with Eventin instead of MEC
- Ensure site uses Elementor Hello child theme
- Ensure Eventin, Dokan, and Woocommerce are configured properly to work with Stripe Connect and custom code
- Ensure users have a seamless checkout experience
- Ensure custom payment code renders the payout configuration we require
- Ensure both the vendor and buyer dashboards operate properly
- Ensure email notifications for vendors and buyers are sent seamlessly
- Once staging site works properly, migrate to live environment

Please ensure your application includes a detailed project proposal showing how you would approach this, and your previous relevant work.
