Simple debug on vtiger custom field issue

Issue is present on a Vtiger v.7.1.0. system in sales order module
Issue is with a custom currency field.
The amount entered in currency filed is "13360", however if you refresh the page after save, the amount is changed to "10000"
The Currency field doesn't have a default value defined - so that isn't the problem.
I've looked for sales order workflows, but non of them are configured to update this custom field.
The issue is present when creating a new salesorder. If you edit an existing sales order or inline edit a salesorder.
