Shopify Store Setup for Physical Goods
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are seeking a skilled Shopify app developer to integrate and synchronize our product data with our multi-store Shopify platform.
Tasks:
- Develop a solution to import an initial set of 5,000 products from CSV files provided via email.
- Create an automated process to handle daily product updates:
Import 3 separate CSV files three times a day:
Products with edited details (price, quantity, name).
New products to be added.
Products to be removed.
- Implement a nightly full product synchronization to ensure data accuracy across all stores.
- Collaborate with us on field mapping to define:
Filters displayed for product management.
Fields to be updated during the import process.
Fields that should NOT be updated during import.
- Develop a bulk image upload functionality:
Images should be named according to their corresponding item codes.
The system should handle multiple images per product, adding suffixes like "_1", "_2", "_3" for each additional image.
- Create a custom mega menu for our Shopify store.
Technical Skills Required:
- Some products require installation - therefor an installation fee should be added either at product level or at check out. it's optional for the client to choose it or not.
Proven experience developing Shopify apps (or similar e-commerce platforms).
Familiarity with Shopify API and data migration.
Experience working with CSV data import and manipulation.
Experience with image processing and upload functionalities.
Additional Information:
We will provide a sample CSV file to showcase our product data format.
We are open to discussing existing Shopify apps that might fulfill our needs, however, customization for our specific requirements is a must.
Collaboration on field mapping and data integrity is crucial.
