Shopify Developer for eCommerce Customization

We are seeking an experienced Shopify developer to enhance our eCommerce website by adding custom features, improving the homepage layout, and refining product display and search functionality. The project involves both back-end customization (using metafields / metaobjects for dynamic product specifications) and front-end design (for UI/UX improvements). Our goal is to create a more streamlined and user-friendly shopping experience, with specific focus on simplifying product discovery, enhancing product comparison, and ensuring the site is fully responsive across devices.
The successful freelancer will work closely with our team to implement the following:
Customizable Product Specifications:
Implement metafields / metaobjects to display dynamic product attributes such as specifications, features, and requirements, tailored to different product types (e.g., hardware, software).
Ensure that each product type can have unique attributes and that the admin interface is user-friendly for adding/editing these details.
Support for bulk import/export of product data via CSV.
Homepage Redesign:
Create a modern, visually engaging, and conversion-optimized homepage.
Utilize Shopify's Online Store 2.0 features for flexible layout and responsiveness, focusing on key product collections, promotions, and brand identity.
Ensure full responsiveness across desktop and mobile, with a focus on accessibility.
Enhanced Search Functionality:
Improve the product search bar with real-time suggestions and dynamic search results showing product thumbnails, prices, and names.
Display related products in search results based on tags, collections, and product types.
Save and Compare Features:
Add a "Save" button to save products to a wishlist.
Implement a "Compare" button that allows users to select products and view side-by-side comparisons of key features (e.g., specifications, prices, SKUs) in a dynamic table format.
