Shopify-Amazon Fulfillment Automation Setup
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
My Shopify store already ships through Amazon FBA; what’s missing is a fully automated hand-off and crystal-clear communication at every step. The job is to integrate Shopify with Amazon so that the moment a customer places an order it is pushed to Amazon for fulfillment without manual intervention, inventory stays in sync, and the right people are notified in real time.
Scope of work
• Connect Shopify to Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (or a comparable method via SP-API/MWS) so new orders flow automatically.
• Ensure inventory levels on both platforms stay aligned at SKU level.
• Build notification triggers for:
– Order received
– Payment for order
– Seller notified of order
– Order shipped (with tracking back-filled to Shopify)
– Order delivered
Notifications must reach the Shopify admin dashboard, the customer (email/SMS templates are ready to be edited), and the Amazon seller account feed.
• Run test orders demonstrating each trigger and confirm timestamps match Amazon’s shipping milestones.
• Provide a concise hand-over guide so I can maintain or clone the workflow for future stores.
Acceptance criteria
A test purchase should appear in Amazon automatically, tracking should return to Shopify within minutes of shipment, the customer must receive the “shipped” and “delivered” emails, and my Shopify admin should log every event in the order timeline.
