Seperate payment processing module to standalone Laravel project
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
We currently have an event ticketing platform which is built in Laravel 5.2 and services multiple countries and languages. We are looking to replicate the existing payment processing flow on a standalone Laravel 7 or 8 project.
We are looking for a back end or full stack developer to assist with this project. This will be a collaborative effort between yourself and the existing developers (Michael and Conrad).
The existing system processes credit cards using the PHP SDK entirely, meaning the CC details are submitted to our servers via a webform. In the new project we want to utilise Stripe Elements to handle the card details, to improve security in our system.

One complexity in the current system is that we need to be able to accept credit card details, but charge it at a later date. This is the main reason we need to upgrade to a higher version of Laravel, so we can utilise SetupIntents in the PHP SDK.

Styling can be replicated from the existing project, which uses bootstrap 3.
Translation strings will need to be used, and can be replicated from the existing project.
The new project will need to connect to the existing database (both read and write).
The long term goal of this new project is to replicate the entire ticketing platform, including admin dashboard, so we will need to have the ability to share authentication with the current platform (we have already done this with 2 other projects, so we can recycle some of that code)
You will be provided read-only access to the existing platforms GitHub repository and assisted with local setup.
