Senior WordPress Developer
Budget: $45 – $65 USD
We are looking for experienced individuals to join our development team supporting our customers’ site(s). There will be a trial period and if successful we hope to have a long term engagement across multiple projects.
Ideal candidates have the majority of these:
Developed responsive designed websites
Strong knowledge of the WordPress platform and code standards
Strong PHP back-end development
Deep understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, React
Custom WordPress plugin and theme development
Working knowledge of git, GitHub and pull request workflows.Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and fix site issues
Developing custom Gutenberg blocks
Building custom WP CLI commands
Good communication skills
Able to work during normal business hours
WordPress Developer duties and responsibilities:
Implementing new features and functionality based on the design layout or wireframes
Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
Ensure your new custom creations work properly in all environments while overcoming conflicts with popular themes and plugins
