Senior PHP developer (Symfony)

Job ID: 32119401

Budget: €12 – €18 EUR

Hi there,

We have a bit older production system written in PHP 5.6, and therefore there is not much OOP. Your job will be to add new features, and refactor errors in this system. We use Github to manage code, and Jira to manage tasks. MySQL for database. On the daily communication I'm personally available a minimum of 4 hours per day via Slack. In rare occasion of holidays, I require feedback on Jira - and I get back to you every morning / evening.

You will receive explanation to task via video recorded instructions, to make it easy to understand tasks and the thoughts behind the functions you are working on.

OnPrint is a 100 year old start up company. What does that means?
We are 100 years old on paper, but our industry is disrupted so much that we always have to be one step ahead. Our goal is to be number 1 on the north european markets within a 3-5 year target.

This means hard and ambitious goals/deadlines - we work under hard pressure - and we need to get the most out of our budgets.

As we are a start up team, we are looking for people that have tons of humour and believe having fun with doing the work - means accomplishing more faster.

We are fairly open to the hourly rate, but we prefer finding someone in the region of $10-20. As better price you give us, as more hours you will get assigned - as we are on a budget known from any new Start Up. But we also value the quality against speed, so we are willing to try you out, and see what we get per hour. Tell us what you are worth and why - and let's see where we end up.

We are looking for 1-2 programmer preferably part time - but over a longer period, so we can send out tasks, whenever our full-time staff isn't able to deliver fast enough as the business need it.

This can be a very good reference for you - and we are willing to afterwards write a recommendation that you can send out to other employers - truly written about your strengths and potentially weakness. But of a quality that you can really use.

So what do we require:
- (Very important) You can work between 8am to 6pm in Danish Time Zone
- MySQL has to be natural for you - to get the based advantage out of a correct database structure from early on.
- 2+ years full work with PHP.
- GIT with GitHub
- Experiences with Javascript and jQuery
- Some server experiences with Linux Debian
- Understanding of basic HTML5 with responsive design
- Symfony

Nice qualification - but not crucial for applying:
- HTML5 with different JS library
