Senior Backend Developer for Video & Live Broadcasting Platform -- 2

We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Senior Backend Developer to build and manage the core infrastructure for our video and live broadcasting platform. This role is ideal for someone with robust system architecture experience, especially in building multi-tenant backends and working with live media protocols.
-- Key Responsibilities
- API Development:
* Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs.
* Ensure comprehensive documentation and version control for APIs.
- Multi-Tenant Architecture:
* Develop a multi-tenant backend using Laravel, with a PostgreSQL instance configured for multiple databases.
* Implement and manage frequent automated backups for data integrity and disaster recovery.
- Server & Deployment Expertise:
* Configure and manage multi-tenant server environments using Caddy.
* Optimize server performance and ensure high availability across environments.
- Media Streaming & Broadcasting:
* Demonstrate deep understanding and hands-on experience with live media protocols (RTMP, RTSP, DASH).
* Implement and manage broadcasting systems using MediaMTX (or similar media server solutions).
* Ensure low-latency, high-performance streaming for both live broadcasts and video on demand.
- Load Balancing & Stress Testing:
* Architect and implement load balancing strategies to ensure optimal performance during peak loads.
* Conduct rigorous stress testing to identify potential bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
- Automated CDN Integration:
* Develop and integrate automated workflows for CDN storage and fetching using external APIs.
* Ensure efficient caching, quick content delivery, and dynamic content distribution.
- WebSocket Integration:
* Implement and manage WebSocket connections for real-time data transfer and interactive features.
* Ensure secure, efficient, and scalable WebSocket communication protocols.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Laravel and building high-performance APIs.
- Extensive background in managing PostgreSQL databases, including multi-database setups and automated backup strategies.
- Strong server management skills, with hands-on experience using Caddy in multi-tenant setups.
- In-depth knowledge of live streaming protocols such as RTMP, RTSP, DASH and practical experience with MediaMTX.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement load balancing and perform stress testing on scalable architectures.
- Experience integrating automated CDN storage solutions and API-based content fetching.
- Solid understanding of WebSocket technologies and real-time communication systems.
