Senior Backend Developer for Niche Social Media Platform -- 2

We are building an app a main niche focused social media platform similar to Reddit, centered around communities, discussions, posts, comments, upvotes, follows, notifications, and personalized feeds. We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js, TypeScript, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Aurora PostgreSQL Serverless v2, Redis (ElastiCache), S3, CloudFront, and Prisma ORM. The candidate should have experience designing scalable social media backends, feed ranking systems, Redis caching strategies, PostgreSQL optimization, cursor-based pagination, and high-performance APIs capable of handling thousands of concurrent users. Experience building community platforms, forums, social networks, or content-driven applications is highly preferred. The developer will be responsible for architecture, database design, feed generation, caching, scalability, performance optimization, and AWS infrastructure. We are looking for someone who can think like a system architect, not just implement CRUD APIs. Focus on social feed architecture, database performance, and long-term scalability.
