Senior Backend Developer – SQL-to-SQL Cloud Replication & Event-Driven Integration
We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer for a single contract engagement to execute a high-transaction SQL-to-SQL cloud replication as part of our transition from Laravel to .NET and Bitrix24 PHP. The project requires an expert-level implementation within a defined industry-standard timeframe.
The replication will be unilateral, ensuring a one-way sync from the legacy system to the new environment. The estimated completion time for a high-transaction SQL-to-SQL replication is 4–6 weeks, with potential follow-up for optimization. Candidates must have experience with Dynatrace and its ecosystem to ensure observability, performance monitoring, and compliance with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute a unilateral SQL-to-SQL cloud-based replication ensuring data integrity.
Optimize high-volume data transfers to minimize latency and downtime.
Ensure full observability and monitoring via Dynatrace, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.
Validate data consistency, schema integrity, and API compatibility post-migration.
Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to fine-tune replication strategies.
Conduct performance testing and implement failover strategies.
Deliver within the 4–6 week industry-standard timeframe.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in backend development with SQL-based data synchronization.
Expertise in SQL-to-SQL replication methodologies (transactional, batch, or streaming).
Hands-on experience with CDC tools (Debezium, Maxwell, or similar).
Strong background in Laravel, .NET, and PHP-based integrations.
Experience with Dynatrace for system performance monitoring.
Deep knowledge of data governance, schema versioning, and API lifecycle management.
Strong proficiency in high-transaction database environments.
Preferred Skills:
Expertise in database sharding, partitioning, and indexing strategies.
Familiarity with cloud-based SQL services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL).
Experience in bilateral replication and real-time synchronization for future scalability.
