Selection areas in a PDF document, and make it possible to insert informations into it

My application handles PDF documents. I want a solution that makes it possible to select an area from the PDF (independents of the page) and bring the page number and coordinates of the area to JavaScript and then will save the data in the database. My application is built in PHP.
