Scraper for a Single Website -- 2
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I have about 200 products on Costco.com and daily I manually check to see if they are live on site and at what pricing. I need a scraper I believe to do this for me so that I can push a button or run the scraper program and have it populate an existing excel spreadsheet that I have already to tell me if the item is on site or not at that moment in time. It would convey Yes or No and the date and time.
Each item has two identifying item numbers that are distinct for that product, one number for when it is on sale at a discount and another that is for when it is for sale at regular price. Costco.com pages are not all built the same way so the item # is the key to looking these things up.
The only maintenance I would need is for the scraper to be able to be modified to remove or add items as needed, hopefully simply. I do use excel on a daily basis, but nothing else fancier. I work in the PST time zone.
