Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled developer or development team to build a School Management System with a mobile app for drivers. The system will manage student transportation, driver payments, and license tracking. The system will have both a backend and a mobile interface for drivers. The project will be developed in Phase 1, focusing on core functionalities as described below.
Key Features:
1. Backend System (Admin Panel):
Trip Management:
Drivers assigned specific routes for student pick-up and drop-off. Drivers may request route changes, subject to admin approval.
Fixed pricing for routes.
Manage occasional non-student trips (like airport pickups) with similar fields as student trips.
Attendance and Trip Cancellation:
Case 1: Pre-informed student absence: Driver notified in advance, and no trip will be made.
Case 2: Uninformed student absence: Driver manually marks the student as absent. Driver paid for the pick-up route but not for drop-off.
Invoicing:
Weekly automated invoice generation based on trips completed.
Non-student trips also factored into invoices.
License Management:
Track a single driver license.
Notifications for license renewal (1 month before expiration and on expiration).
Drivers can upload renewed licenses for admin approval.
Notifications:
Alerts for upcoming trips.
License renewal notifications for both drivers and admins.
2. Mobile App for Drivers:
Route Information: Drivers can view their assigned routes for student pick-ups and drop-offs.
Mark Attendance: Drivers can mark students as absent at pick-up in case of unnotified absences.
License Status: Drivers can check the status of their license and get notified about upcoming renewals.
License Renewal Upload: Ability for drivers to upload a renewed license for admin approval.
Route Change Requests: Drivers can request a route change through the app, pending admin approval.

User Roles:
In Phase 1, there will only be two user roles: drivers (for the mobile app) and admins (for the backend).
Backend Technology: Open to suggestions, but the system should be scalable, secure, and easy to maintain.
Mobile App: Should be compatible with Android devices.
Project Deliverables:
A fully functional backend system with all core features.
A mobile app for drivers that integrates with the backend.
Documentation for system setup and maintenance.
Testing and support during initial deployment.

Proven experience in building similar systems (transportation, logistics, or school management systems preferred).
Expertise in backend development and mobile app development.
Ability to communicate effectively and meet deadlines.
