Salesforce Integration Upgrade: PHP Webservice & Queue System

Job ID: 39266097

Budget: €250 – €750 EUR

Upgrade PHP Webservice with Real-Time Salesforce Integration via Queue System

Description: We currently have a working setup where leads are received via a webservice and saved into a MySQL database on our Linux/Ubuntu server. A cronjob checks every few minutes and posts these leads to Salesforce via API. While functional, this setup can be improved.

Goal: We want to improve the system by:

Replacing the cronjob approach with a real-time or near real-time queue system

Keeping the current scripts intact as much as possible, but open to suggestions

Implementing proper error logging and retry logic

Ensuring the solution is lightweight and maintainable

Our Environment:

Linux/Ubuntu VPS

PHP (custom scripts)

MySQL

Salesforce REST API

What we're looking for:

A developer with experience in similar setups: PHP-based backend scripts, queue systems, and Salesforce integrations

Someone who understands Linux environments and background jobs

A problem-solver who can help optimize or refactor parts of the logic where needed

Ideally someone who’s open to future collaborations on similar dev projects (short bursts of 1–2 weeks)

Bonus if you’ve worked with:

Redis Queue, RabbitMQ, or custom queue implementations

Asynchronous processing in PHP

Robust error handling in API flows

We’re looking to start as soon as possible and build something solid together.
