SaaS development Project
Budget: £400 – £550 GBP
We are a web & mobile-first responsive SaaS focused on the construction industry across North America, developing our products and services to create automation and efficiencies in our sector.
Our product consists of 3 core sections aimed at solving specific services within a niche area of the construction industry.
These 3 sections will cover sales/estimation, design/construction and service/maintenance in our specific niche industry.
All 3 areas are intertwined as information flows from sales to design and service. We have a working beta application for one section based on an existing technology, currently being trialled at a multi-billion dollar company.
We're looking for an experienced PHP / Laravel developer to join our team. We're a small team and we're always keen to build long-standing relationships with developers. We're looking for someone who is proactive and takes initiative, as well as being a team player, we predicted this project will take a minimum of 3 months, with the potential of the project lasting up to 9 months. 30+ hours a week required with some weekend hours to allow for the time difference.
Duties:
• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel
• Work with designers and project managers to develop applications
• Ensure that applications adhere to current web standards and practices
• Update and maintain existing systems
• Develop custom extensions and modules
• Troubleshoot and debug issues
Advantages:
• Strong PHP and Laravel skills, including OOP and functional programming
• Expert understanding of MVC (models, views, controllers) pattern
• Experience with databases and SQL
• Experience with linux
• Experience with Git, version control, and deployment Features
We will be developing as a team:
- Features of the application that are required
- SaaS application
- Member-only site
- 2fa login
- Users by company, user roles, user access restrictions, user groups
- Flexible adjustable roles and levels of permissions/access for everything
- Gui interface wizard to walk through the user to create an estimation.
- A lot of checkboxes and drop-down selects
- Gui interface to allow the creation of a design utilizing the estimation details
- Looking to use mxgraph / graph
- Drag and drop interface where required (reordering rows)
- Estimation and design to be packaged as a PDF document ready to be exported. I.e. cover page, Table of contents, estimations, design, bill of materials, wiring details
- Versioning control of design built within the app
- Tracking off all changes (audit log) within the app
- Ticket style system for non-designers to request changes that can be approved/denied and will automatically update as required
- QR code generation
- Image/file uploads
- API integrations
- Simple tracking progression of a design/estimation (percentage complete)
- Auto-populate / suggestions in form fields based on database or rule matches
- Automated wiring diagrams (Currently we are using wireviz)
- Import parse custom file type (plain text)
- Import/export excel files into the database
