The Role
We are looking for an experienced LAMP/PHP developer who can integrate the LinkMobility SMS API (https://a.storyblok.com/f/151608/x/d66a32ace9/sms_rest_api_mt_dlr_20.pdf)
with the GEMStracker (https://github.com/GemsTracker) communications system. GEMStracker is based on the zend 1 framework, currently running on zf1-future (https://github.com/Shardj/zf1-future ).
You
You are a developer who has experience with the LAMP stack (PHP, MySQL) and have previously worked with the Zend 1 framework. It’s a bonus if you also have GEMStracker experience. You have a portfolio you are able to share with us with description of work you have prevoiusley done in the Zend 1 framework as part of the evaluation of whether you’re the right candidate for this role.
Definition of Done
The SMS integration should work in the same way as the GEMStracker email integration in the GEMS messenger system.
It should be possible to select the SMS API when creating new "messengers".
It should be possible to use SMS in both automatic and manual message jobs.
All SMS statuses should be logged in the GEMS Communication log.
It should be possible to send sms manually from the Gemstracker overview page, just like the feature button “Bulk email”. SMS should be sent using cron.
We expect clearly commented code.
Any code changes should be committed to github, with each commit having a clear description and change, so it’s easy to debug or roll back in case of any issues.
I need to review and sign off on the project for it to be marked done.
