Review PHP Code - Suggest Best Practices

I am looking to have a review of my PHP codebase performed to ensure best practices are followed and coding standards are met. The code is intended for backend development and will be utilizing the Laravel framework. The size of the codebase is estimated to be less than 1000 lines. Only suggest few improvements that could be done and define how will this benefit this change us in the long run?
