Resolve ElasticPress Plugin Synchronization Issue
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We cannot synchronize ElasticPress plugin.
This is the error showed in the plugin LOG:
"Error type
Mapping failed: cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: self signed certificate in certificate chain Mapping has failed, which will cause ElasticPress search results to be incorrect. Please click `Delete all Data and Start a Fresh Sync` to retry mapping".
We tried `Delete all Data and Start a Fresh Sync`, but it shows the same error after trying.
From what I can understand after investigating, there could be a problem with the password of Elasticsearch: The password inserted in the code doesn't correspond with the correct password, so from one side the plugin tries to connect, but the other side rejects because the information does not match. Since this is not my area of expertise, I don't know how to change the password nor fix this problem. This is only an hypothesis from someone who only spend hours looking for this on the Internet, so the problem could be another thing.
Another theory could be that ElasticPress is sending http from Wordpress and needing https from the hosting's ends. But again, just a theory.
Our hosting uses Plesk, so besides being skilled in Wordpress, we need someone who understands the Plesk's interface. If you are familiar with Plesk, please indicate that in the description. If you need to talk to the hosting, we can provide you the email of the agent.
Please don't bid the lowest budget and then upgrade it while we speak without notice, we will reject those candidates immediately. We need someone who really knows how to fix this, so price is not our priority when looking at candidates.
If you are not sure that can solve this problem, but you want to give it a try, please bear this in mind:
We are only going to release the milestone once the project is complete and the problem solved. Whatever budget we've agreed, it is going to be released, but only when the issue is solved.
If the problem is not solved, the milestone will not be released.
